summer time

summer is here in California. we have officially had several 95+ degree days a couple 100 degree and yesterday we had rain and dark clouds, bizarre. We have been busy lately but not with anything specifically. We got a new 15ft trampoline this week and the kids are pretty excited about that. I will have those pictures some other day :) with summer comes water. Here are some pictures of the kids in the sprinklers.  I hope they make you smile.

they are funny in the water. Keira charges right in and get’s wet. She gets sprayed in the face and then runs away surprised but comes back for more. Allie is tentative and Wills charges through.

they broke the sprinkler… oh well it was a super cheap one. I’m realizing I must have all the other water pictures on another card so the other water updates will come some other day.

get away

My sister and my cousin Jocelyn both turn 21 this year. We wanted to something special so we thought about going on a cruise but decided that we would just go away for a weekend at my moms cousins beach house. It was fabulous. We were bummed that Maria and Ruth didn’t make it but other than that it was a the perfect weekend getaway. I took Keira with me but she was the only kid and we just relaxed played and ate.

Our family had actually gotten a nasty flu bug that has been floating around church for a month the day before I was suppose to go. I was pretty bummed but it all worked out. I felt better by Saturday and went up a day late.

We all had a great time.

ok so I wanted to get a picture of the girls doing a 2 and 1 because it was their 21st birthday party weekend thing… so Joc says Oh I should do a hand stand and do a two with my legs… and I said YES YES you should, why, because it made perfect sense, oh no no no, because it was freaking funny!!! I seriously crack up every time I see these pictures. Thank you Jocelyn!

Keira second birthday party

My family was out of town on her actually birthday so we celebrated once they all got back. We also combined my moms birthday. We call them birthday buddies in our family because there are so many of us we join birthdays together. Moms and Keira’s are two day apart so it’s pretty intuitive :)

I bought Allie this hat at Target and decided my mom needed a matching one… I love that she is wearing it. That’s my mom for you. I also love that this pictures shows how my moms just hold all the kids… she always has two or three kids clinging to her. Chrisy and I laugh and tell her we tell them to walk or sit, but my mom just loads them on :)

our baby turned 1!

Our baby turned one and it hasn’t gotten any blog coverage yet. Ooops, I guess I was just tied up with that whole new port stuff.

We love our sweet little Keira baby and we can’t imagine our lives with out our bundles. She is a cuddle baby. She gets jealous when daddy or mommy give hugs to other people even each other… She is still a picky eater. She loves fruit, hates veggies, likes meat, hates potatoes and oatmeal, drops the food she doesn’t like on the floor. She is totally her fathers baby even down to what she likes to eat. She loves cereal, she eats with him everyday usually after she has had her own lunch, she loves miniwheats and power bars, of course she like Gatorade… I didn’t realize this was all genetic… she is also my skinny baby. she is thinner then William or Allie were. They are both built like me but I think Keira is built like her daddy, long skinny legs. She doesn’t like to be left behind. When the front door gets opened she likes to be going with us and she gets very angry when she isn’t.
