I have so much to be thankful for in my life. I have an amazing God, I have a wonderful family, a warm home, and am more loved than I deserve or will even know. Hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving!

I don’t usually take the opportunity to photograph just one of my kids. I would love to have more time to practice taking pictures but what can I say, time with just one of them is a little scarce. I would love to practice my photography more though so I might start trying to make it happen, we’ll see how well that works for me.
The other day during Williams preschool Keira was napping so Allie and I walked around a took some pictures. I wasn’t overly excited with my results but that is what practice is all about. here are a few of the ones I took.
silly girl
covering her eyes and than… “oh look at these hands”

photographically not the strongest but very depictive of Allie

I felt like these had a secret garden feel to them
my other favorite
pretty cute and another fav
the B&W version
I love this little girl :) she makes me smile
well I figured I better answer these here since there are probably people who were wondering what the answers are that didn’t wager a guess… So here you go
1. Where was Nick born(the state and the city)? Nick was born in Kingman Arizona
2. where did Nick graduate from high school (the state)? Whidbey Island WA Oak harbor?
3. If Nick could move anywhere where would he live? I think he said Washington but I was going to answer New Zealand so I am not sure what the “right” answer is
4. how old is Nick? 30 (it was a trick question to see if I caught anyone off guard, they all got it.)
5. What is Nick’s dream Job? He said he didn’t have one. So everyone just gave their answers… I said a National Geo photog, my mom said video game tester, someone else said pro athlete
6. when did Nick move to California? we decided it was 2002 when he got stationed at Beal AFB
7. what cereal does Nick eat every morning for breakfast? He eats mini wheat's it use to be the big bite red box Kellogg's but they have hfcs so he change brands…
8. what is Nick’s favorite movie?/ 0r what is his favorite video game? He said his favorite movie is either Schindlers list or It’s a Wonderful Life (talk about opposite ends of the spectrum but both great movies!) He said civ is probably his favorite video game
9. what sport/ sports did Nick play in high school? Golf. Most of the fam got this one wrong.
10. hmm I can’t remember this one… maybe it will come to me (it didn’t) but we will go with this one for now. what is one food Nick won’t eat? Well this would take a long time to write out so let’s just say that you probably got this one right since he is picky.
some extra’s for those who know Nick really well…
what is one book Nick has read? Rainbow 6 the Bible and maybe 1 0r two more. what is Nick’s favorite frozen dessert? Either mint chip ice cream or rainbow sherbet from baskin robins. how many states has Nick lived in? I think his family said 6? Let me see if I can get this right… AZ, NY,Fl,MS,NM,WA, CA so 7, I think I am right. how much weight can Nick bench? I don’t know :) but significantly more than he weights. what is Nick’s favorite sport to watch on TV? pro Football or basketball.
Love you Nicholas Moulton
As I mentioned in my previous post we went to Yosemite for Nick’s birthday. Which if you follow my blog you might know that we try to do every year. We left on a Saturday after Williams soccer game because his previous game had been cancelled, and we came back Monday. The weather was great! It didn’t rain at all while we were there. It was a little cold at night and in the morning but we came prepared so that wasn’t a big deal. We bought sleeping bags that zip together so the girls and I were all snuggled up. We also bought this bigger air mattress pad/ thick therma rest for me. Right before we went to sleep Nick says oh yeah make sure Keira’s face doesn’t get in the sleeping bag or she might suffocate… goodnight and he rolls over and sleeps soundly all night… so you can imagine how well I slept that night. at one point I was trying to snuggle with Allie to keep her happy while nursing the baby on the other side... Over all it went fine but I was glad to be back in my own bed.
Most people think I am crazy for going camping in October and it wouldn’t be something I would automatically choose but Nick LOVES it so I am game. One of the reasons that I will go is that Nick does all the cooking. I buy the food and make whatever can be made before hand but he grills the meet, boils the water, cooks the noodles all that stuff. I take care of the baby/kids but he cooks dinner and cleans up so that is lovely. He loves making camp fires and usually cooks half the meal over the open flame so he enjoys it.The kids love to be outside playing so they love when we go camping. We road bikes, climbed rocks, went on hikes, climbed more rocks, and even took a bus ride from the store around Yosemite valley at night. We had a wonderful trip and are looking forward to next time.
and as usual lots and lots of pictures.
me and my babies
where is waldo I mean wills
like I said they climbed rocks
and more climbing
stop mom wants a picture moment…
I have a few more of these I might save for our Christmas card :)
we hiked to the bridge at Vernal falls. Wills did great and didn’t need any help
Nick carrying Allie and playing games
cute daddy Allie moment
and we also went bike ridding. Yosemite is a fabulous place to bike ride especially in the fall when not as many people are around. William rode his bike and than the girls rode in the trailer. my bike pulls the trailer and since Nick got a full frame bike we decided that I would pull the trailer instead of him. I got a good work out (it’s not really that hard and it’s kinda fun)
we played at mirror lake
Allie said mom take my picture so I did
and than this cute little girl. I call it her marshmallow suit. We bought it for Allie and it is fabulous because it is a down jumper that keeps baby nice and snuggly! yay for momma know you are warm!
on our way out we visit Yosemite falls
William doesn’t know how to smile for a camera and so Nick told him to do this serious face. I don’t like it one bit. It makes him look so serious like he is unhappy so we will have to work on his smile for pictures.
I think this one is super cute! he looks all protective of her and I love it!
And Nick took this one. Pretty.
me and my babies :)
p.s. thank you Stevie for telling me about Windows live writer because it has made this post sooooo much easier!
