San Fransisco Sat June 28th

We took a Saturday trip to visit San Fransisco. The California fires had been giving us terrible air quality so we decided what better way to spend a Saturday then near the ocean. William shares Nick's love for the ocean and had a so much fun playing with the water, rocks, and sand. I wrote this post in reverse so you get to start at our end unless you start at the end and go up :)
This weird art structure, which you would only see in San Fransisco, was across the street from the car so we decided to stop and take a look. As we walked over some crazy lady (she really was crazy) was yelling at some unknown object. Truly a San Fran experience. Anyway... here the boys are taking a walk under the water. They are in both pictures.

William tried to take a swim in this delightful water. Let's just say that the bums have to go somewhere... Pretty yucky smelling and I am glad daddy was careful to make sure he couldn't get in.

We stopped and played at this park which was on one of the wharfs headed toward 39. It was pretty fun to have a playground right there.

So cool and don't even try to deny it!

After Golden Gate park and a scenic drive through San Fran we parked at the end of Embarcadero (sp?) Street and walked to pier 39. Wills particularly enjoyed playing on these.

Getting tackled. I just love my boys and all the fun they have together! As I write this they are having another fun time wrestling on the floor.

Wills kept falling on the grass. Here he is taking a little break after a fall.

After the ocean and the bridge we headed to Golden Gate park where we stopped by the Windmill. Although it is usually kind of lame, and Nick didn't want to go, as soon as we got to the grass Wills asked for his soccer ball and he and Nick had a blast kicking the ball around. The flowers were also beautiful.

Wills and Mom freezing! Now we feel better!

We accessed the beach from further down this road, somewhat by accident because there was a bathroom there for mommy and then we hiked on down, on our way back we stopped and took some cool pictures of the Golden Gate. Wills was cold and crabby!Happy now that he has his motor bike to drive all over mom. There it is daddy!Mom and me

My sweet cutie pie!

Playing while daddy climbs onto his rock. Hanging out with daddy

Nick had to climb on this big rock which was only partially accessible when the tide was out. He waited for a long time before he got the right wave to run up it but while he was up there the tide was coming in and he finally just waited for the waves to recede as much as possible and then ran for it. He ended up with some wet shoes (not socks thanks for goretex) and pants.

William loves to climb on any and every rock, just like his dad. Nick and Wills play a game where they walk down with the receding tide and then run away from the waves. Wills loves it and almost gets soaking wet.

Throwing rocks in the "big water" which is what Wills referred to the ocean as. He came up while i was posting this and requested to visit the big water and the boats.
orry this post has been so long in coming but I had to process all these pictures which takes a really long time. Hope you enjoyed. I really hope you enjoyed as this post took well over an hour to finish!
