we are back

Where did we go, well no where I just took a bit of blog break. I took a bit of a blog absence the last two weeks because we have been busy! We are all doing well. Allie is getting really big!! Wills is being a good big brother. He is busy busy as usual. Mom isn't getting enough sleep but not necessarily because of the baby but more so the Olympics :) Allie is a good sleeper, she gets up to eat two to three times a night and goes back to sleep. In fact one of my biggest complaints is that she falls asleep when she eats.

Allie passing gas or something :) although i think i got a real smile yesterday when she was awake. Her smile lights up her face it is so so cute!

Allie has a weak left eye lid. Strangely enough so did William but he grew out of it. Her eye and eye lid have already gotten a lot stronger so I don't think it is going to be a problem. The doctor said that it isn't covering her pupil so currently it isn't a problem. Here William is playing while mommy takes a few pictures of Allie. He walks around in a diaper a lot! Not only because it is convenient but because he loves it. If he has clothes on as soon as Nick gets home they both take their shirts off. It makes me laugh when Wills says "daddy shirt off" as soon as Nick enters the house. Currently he is sitting eating popcorn and watching the US play beach volleyball. He loves to watch the swimming, as do we, he asks for swimmen big pool and points to the t.v. He really has a big vocabulary.

Happy 2nd birthday William

William turns two today! He is such a blessing from God to Nick and I. We are so blessed to have two healthy babies. Happy birthday my sweet little man. We love you so much big boy!

The picture from Williams birth announcement
A few days old
eating cake on his first birthday
Here is the big two year old today. He fell asleep on the floor and I decided to let him just take his little snooze there instead of moving him to his bed.

We are going to be celebrating his birthday late this year so we will post more pictures from that after it happens.

my two babies

My sweet baby in pink. her shirt says made you smile :)

kids grow so fast. It felt like yesterday that I was at the hospital delivering Wills and it was two years ago! I love all the precious moments i have with my babies.

He was trying to comfort her, he didn't make her cry she was just mad she wasn't being held. When she gets mad she let's us know. Wills is so cute he always tells me what is going on with Allie. Mommy Allie want you, or mommy Allie poopie. He loves his baby sister. I am delighted how well they get along. He has his moment where he is annoyed she has to be dealt with but over all he does soooo well with her.

Leaving the hospital. This was the first indicator that Allie is a little bit more mild tempered then her brother. Wills was screaming when he got put into his car seat. She doesn't like to be buckled but when she is in she does well.

These are from the hospital when Dan and Family came to visit. Even though she is almost two weeks old i figured they were cute enough to post.
Here is Charity holding Allie and then Kate getting her turn. Becca was not interested but mostly because she is shy, she certainly isn't indifferent.

Another couple pictures

We'll it's been a week. We are doing well. This is Nick's first day back at work and the three of us at home have really enjoyed having him around. Will's first sentence this morning was daddy bye bye.

At the moment I am holding Allie in one hand and typing with the other. William is swimming with his Aunt Rachel so this post will be short. I would love to tell you all about our sweet little girl and all the things that make her so sweet and special but I don't have the time. So you will have to settle with knowing we are all doing well. Mommy and Allie are recovering well, William loves his baby sissy (as he called this morning,) and Nick has been a huge help especially with sweet Wills.

Here are some pictures. I haven't taken that many yet but we'll get there.

The quality of this image from a photography stand point is completely unacceptable but it is absurdly CUTE! I love that Nick has his arm holding Wills back from loving his sister a little to much. Sooo sweet...

Alexandria Marie Moulton

Alexandria at about 5 minutes old. Not much light at 3:30 am+5 minutes but she didn't seem to mind. Mom did very well and Ali is a strong healthy baby who weighed in at 7lbs 12oz and measured 19.5 inches with a reach of something less than that. I know most of you probably care less about what I have to write so I will get straight to the pictures.

Dr. William Moulton administering a hearing test.

Not so doctor like Wills attempts to join his sister in her crib. Had to put a stop to that once he put his leg up onto the metal shelf and prepared to jump in.

Too many people starring here.

Wills soon asks Rach to hand of the baby. We told him he could hold it with mommy. He thought this was a great idea and wondered why Rach was not handing the baby over so he could carry it to mom on her bed for them to hold.

Sarah is sleeping. Alexandria is sleeping. Wills is sleeping. And I, I am done.

A post before baby comes...

Well to begin, I am still pregnant. I didn't seem to mind until I passed my due date and all of a sudden I was like OK lets get this over with. It is inevitable that I have to go through labor so let's just do it! Anyway God in His wisdom still has me very pregnant. I am thankful however that I am not that uncomfy. Maybe God just wanted my house extra clean??? Wills and I accomplished that this morning so maybe baby will come tonight? I can dream can't I?? In all reality I think Thursday would work nicely :) anyway... We'll keep you posted.

Until then, I am chipping away at things that may have to be put of for a few days when I have baby, such as the blog, so here we go.

We spent the 4th of July with my family watching Tennis in the morning then Wills and I headed to a parade with Grandpa and Grammy and Uncle Josh (Nick went running with Dave.) We met some friends and Uncle Dan and his family so there were lots of little people for Wills to hang out with. Then we met up with dad and Dave for some fireworks and that was our day. Wills and Kate were really cute during the fire works. Kate would say "one, two, three," and wait for the explosion and Wills would say "all done" when the light went out. Kids make things like that so fun!

Here Wills and Nick are headed out for a bike ride. William LOVES to go for bike rides with dad!

I was cooking dinner the other day and decided Wills needed some entertainment so I flipped on the Wii and tried to get Wills to play a game it is some Mario game (Mario 64 Nick says...) where he can just hit buttons and make Mario run around. So I turned it on and handed over the controller. Nick was like, show him how to hold it and which buttons to push, I think I laughed and said, You really think I know how to do that??? I wish I wasn't almost completely lost when it comes to Video games but I am. I can turn them on but I never played much as a kid. I am sure Wills will know more then I do by tomorrow :) Anyway Daddy sat down and they had a fun couple of minutes playing Mario together.

baby news or lack there of

Baby number 2 seems to be quiet happy in mommy's tummy. I went to the Dr. for my 40 week appointment, I am due Sunday July 12th, and there is a little more going on then last week but not much. I have another Dr. apt next Wednesday and would not be surprised to make it. Fortunately I am pretty comfortable other then some uncomfy leg hip never spasm I am doing alright. I get contractions but not in any sort of pattern and not painful just uncomfy ones. So hang in there it might be a couple weeks. I will for sure have the baby by July 26th because that is two weeks after I am due. Although Nick and Wills are suffering the side affects of a 40 week pregnant lady, mostly hormones and late night crankiness, I still feel pretty good so I am fortunate. We will see how next week goes :)
