First off I want to say I spelled her name wrong. It is spelled Megan not Meghan, oops!
Well she is doing good. I just got off the phone with Dan and he said that she is breathing the same air we are which means her lungs are doing great. She is still incubated but she is breathing room air. She had her brain scan today and things seemed to be pretty normal. There were a few things Dan said that seemed to be like "bubbles" he couldn't remember the technical term, the Dr. said it isn't unusual and they aren't concerned but they are going to keep on eye on it and rescan next Wednesday. Her blood sugar level was a little high today so they are also going to keep an eye on that as well. Overall the news is encouraging and she really is doing well. Dan sounded encouraged so that is good. She is very very tiny and it is incredible that she is alive and seems to be thriving. Praise God!
Chrisy is also doing well. She went home on Monday afternoon. She is in pain from her C-section but she is glad to be home and her body is healing. She will be pumping milk for little Megan which is going to take a lot of time and effort so please pray for patience to stick with it.
Dan was able to take the week off so he is able to to stay home and help out with the girls. Chrisy homes schools Charity so they are back at that and looking to face a lot of juggling of schedules in the next couple weeks. I know Dan and Chrisy really appreciate all your prays for them and for baby Megan.

I can't believe she opens her eyes and looks around. Just seems crazy that she is so tiny but yet everything works!
Dan made the comment that these pictures seem to make her look a little washed out.
when you look at this tiny foot you don't have a lot of perspective so it doesn't look as tiny as it is but look at the cord and also the print on the blanket and then you are shocked how tiny she is.
She already has hair. Dan said he thought if she went full term she would have had a ton of hair.

Wow this is amazing...Jess shared with us the news last Saturday. We are so thankful like you said that God is answering prayers and that Chrissy is okay and little Megan Hope is doing well. Praise God. You all are in our prayers especially Megan and you're in our prayers at church too, we're praying for you guys at Prayer Meeting. I love you and thank you for posting the pictures and keeping us updated.
