We took our first family camp trip with Wills. He loved to be outside the whole time. He picked up and carried rocks, sticks, and whatever else he could find. He had a really good time. We went on a hike to Fallen Leaf Lake where he rode in the backpack for a couple hours and really behaved extremely well.
I was a little nervous about it getting to cold at night for him and how the whole sleeping experience in general was going to go. We bought a new 6 man tent that accommodated his pack & play extremely well. All told he woke up crying once and after a little comforting from mommy he went back to sleep till morning time. We all had a great time on our short little vacation.
