Busy

It has been awhile since I updated the site. Life has been busy the last couple weeks. Mom and Wills haven't had that much time for picture taking.
Mom started school at the end of January so Wills gets to go play with Aunt Chrisy and the girls on Monday and Grandma Myers on Wednesday. "It is a busy day for everyone." (NICK takes over) said little bear. Little bear is much like Pooh bear and has no idea where this is suppose to be going. Blue bear (thanks Missy) has now been out grown by Wills and is frequently victim of toothless (like ruthless but not) attacks. In un-ursa related news Will has taken to sitting up on his own, though today he did fall straight back on his head. There were some injury related cries followed by a greater cry of anger. Fortunately emergency care was standing by and hugs were promptly administered by and Emergency Mother Technician (EMT). While safer on the ground activities such as rolling are recommended to prevent injury and promote crawling they don't seem to be as enjoyable. When placed on the back and immediate roll to the stomach is followed. This turn of events though ends up not well, as there is little to see and little grasp when on the stomach, and the Willtention monitor soon sounds. I do not know how this is handled throughout the day and suspect there is some sort of sensitivity adjustment that occurs prior to my arrival.

In other news Wills has voted Becca Myers his favorite cousin who is blonde and between the ages of 2 and not 4. On most Mondays and Sundays and random others ending in Y Will can be found either staring or laughing at his attentive friend. Most of the time it is staring because the confusion factor is often present when someone has their face six inches or closer. Nonetheless Becca was triumphant with a score of 8% of October.

Onto the nightly news. Wills doesn't really see much of a difference and often tries to alert his parents to their foolish oversight. Despite the diligent effort on the part of myself to ignore said alerts it is hard when they are properly translated. One night at o'dark thirty Will was enthusiastically chattering about the needlessness of sleep and specifically he was referring to "Mama". The clear English in which this comment was translated led me to check the SAP (secondary audio program) button on our remote only find it was indeed off. Currently it seems that Mama and Baa can be replicated it is for a purpose unbeknownst to us.

In weather, I mean the bathtub where Wills has now come to bathe it is warm and mostly humid with a small chance of precipitation if we leave the door closed. Yes it is true the little blue bathtub has passed on to a more peace inducing place, or closet if you prefer, or Chrisy's closet or some other person who has kids that likes us and gives us stuff. Ironically enough this change in bathing procedures benefited me just the other day. As things stand Will rides in the back of my Jeep on Monday and Wednesday to wait for mom at home for dinner. Last Wednesday Will informed me he couldn't wait any longer for mom to come home and had to poop his pants. I mean this in a literal sense as his size 3 diapers were filled to capacity and eagerly shed the excess onto the pants, and shirt, and some how behind his head. This was disheartening and of foul odor. Upon further investigation it was revealed the contents were similar in consistency of brownie mix but of a much different shade of brown known as carrot orange. Seven of the bravest and unluckiest wipes were chosen however it was not enough and the battle looked as a loss. Thinking back to the time I didn't spend as a fireman I remembered the effectiveness of a cleaning agent known only as H2O. A now shirtless dad and naked son made way towards the bath and thanks to the sons ability to sit up all was well. It is worth mentioning Wills doesn't seem to mind when his head drifts under the faucet and that he is much easier to entertain then when trying to hold in a shower.
