Apple Hill

Well from Coloma we continued down Highway 49 to Placerville to visit Apple Hill.

Taking a picture in the apple.

Don't Nick and Wills look so much alike in this picture!! I don't know what they were both watching but it appears intriguing.

trying to get through the gate to go see the ponies

walking on the hay bails

Trying to pick up pumpkins. No mom they are not to heavy for me!
He was determined to get on the pumpkin. He got up all by himself and stood there for awhile.
Well if I can't pick it up I might as well use it in some way.

Now that these are posted I will start working on our Yosemite pictures and hopefully have an update of our fun trip before long.

Fall Saturday Fun

I seem to be a week behind with my updates. We returned yesterday from beautiful Yosemite which we visited for Daddy's birthday. Happy Birthday Nick!! We both love you so much. You make our lives a much better places, THANKS love you!!! These pictures however, are from the previous weekend when we went to Coloma and then to Apple Hill.

So on to business... We headed out to find something to do on Saturday. Living in an apartment we don't really have Saturday choirs, sounds odd but I actually kind of miss them sometimes, I know when I have to do them I will wish I was back in the days without them. Anyway, we ended up in Coloma which neither of us had visited as an adult (my mom claims we have been there but I just remember driving by it, however, as a child I lacked my current interest in history so maybe I just didn't care where we were) (this would have been posted earlier but William has not been behaving so i will have to take a break and deal with my child who is less then pleasant right now) So several hours later I'm back... To make a long story short we went to Coloma which is the first place gold was discovered in California in January of 1848 by James Marshall.

This is my favorite picture! They look so cute together :)

So can a member of the Moulton family set my story straight, is this originally Nicks old vest or someone younger down the line?

What a handsome little man!!

Looking throug the bridge

I thought this was a funny picture. Wills took a little tumble. He wasn't hurt at all it was just kind of funny.

Wills loves to play in puddles

empire mine

Last Saturday (well actually the Saturday before October 13) we went up to Grass valley to check out Empire Mine. Nick and I had previously been there to visit the mine part but we missed a whole section of the living area which is beautiful. We can't wait to take someone there to take their pictures (any volunteers?). We only had a half hour before the mine closed so we just walked around but it was very pretty. Here are a few of the pictures we took of us walking around.
Well I hope you like pictures as much as I do :) probably not but here you go anyway.

Really was a beautiful place
there are a couple different fountains that are really pretty.

this was a gorgeous walk way leading to the cottage and fountains

playing on a bench

This is how Wills is determined to go down the stairs. He does not like to go backwards. He can go down them all by himself when there is something to hold. We don't let him just go for it though because occasionally he takes a tumble.

here are some pictures from William this week. He is doing great. Getting soooooo big I can hardly believe it. I was holding my cousins 4month old baby yesterday and I can't believe Wills was ever that size. In all honesty she is only 12lbs (but healthy) and Wills weighed 8lbs 10 oz at birth so he didn't weight less then 12 lbs for very long. Now our 20 something pound little man loves to show us all kinds of things. He loves to have our attention and run us all around the house looking at different objects. We live in an upstairs apartment so when Nick comes home from work, either on lunch break or at the end of the day, Wills hears him running up the stairs and Wills gets so excited. When Nick opens the door Wills runs over there and then lately takes off the other direction so that Nick will follow him. It is all very cute!!!

Here Nick and Wills are sharing their lunch time bowl of cereal. Mini wheat's. Oh don't worry this is just dessert for Wills who already ate his full lunch.

We were getting ready to leave for home from the park and we had to take a picture for one of Nick's classes so we stuck Wills in the car to play (he loves to play in the car!!!!!) anyway, he climbed into the back and dove under his car seat to get the soccer ball. It was kind of funny until he got mad because he couldn't get out. Daddy to the rescue.

Taking pictures at the park

Wills loves to play with my face. He puts his hands on my chin and he grabs my face or he snuggles up with me. He gives me kisses and really nice hugs. He also likes to stick his hands in my mouth. I have no idea why unless I am eating a mint or a piece of gum which he shares.

These pictures are of us at the park.

mommy got hurt playing soccer so daddy stayed home to take care of us on Thursday. So we headed out to the park to play. It was a beautiful day.

I am sorry that I am a little late posting this week, but what I laked in time I made up for in pictures. Hope you enjoy! We have so much fun taking pictures of all the different aspects of our lives. It is nice to have our own personal unpredictable model (although he doesn't really cooperate very well :)

Eating Apples at Grandpa and Grandma Myers house.

I was letting him enjoy an apple from the tree at my parent house when I walked over and saw holes in the apple. He may have eaten a worm but it didn't seem to bother him. He was pretty mad when I took the apple. I did however replace it with a good one!

When the sheep made noise Wills was looking around like what was that?

Wills thinks every ball is meant to be kicked.

We went to the park the other day with Wills other cousins, Charity Becca, and Katelyn.

Wills and Kate hanging out

Wills thinks he is a big boy so he tries to go down places he can't although he does pretty well with edges.
I love this picture of the three girls because I feel like it explains their personalities. Charity is looking directly at the camera smiling Becca is doing her own thing and Kate is pushing Charity off the bench because she is sitting on her spot.

This is Williams cousin Gavyn. They were playing around in Grandpa Myers big chair and Wills thought it was hilarious to stand up when Gav told him to sit down because it wasn't safe to stand. It was pretty cute. Kids really do love Gav.

Last weekend the weather wasn't what most people consider good, however, overcast with a storm rolling in is Nick's favorite days to go outside. So we headed up to Tahoe. We went to cisco grove and drove the Jeep off road for a couple hours. We were able to witness the first snow of the season. It turned out to be a nice day to get some fresh air.

Here we are climbing rocks and eating snow. Wills was actually being kind of fussy having been contained in the car for awhile so we let him out and it didn't help that much but it was fun non the less.
