Wills and I took our first trip to the zoo. We met Aunt Chrisy, Charity, Becca, and Kate and took a trip around to look at the lethargic animals. We met in the afternoon and about half way through I told Chrisy that there are two reasons not to go to the zoo in the afternoon, tired children and tired animals. The kids did have fun and it was neat to see all the different animals that we look at in books.

It was Becca's 4th birthday and so she got to pick something out in the gift shop. She chose this little monkey and called it birthday, but only for that day, she wanted to change the name the next day. She is so cute. Wills really enjoys spending time with his cousins.

Wills favorite attraction
Wills got really excited and started pointing at something while we were walking so I grabbed him and headed off to where he was pointing, thinking in my head that it was really neat he finally got really excited about seeing some animal. Turns out it was the John Deer mule that the Zoo workers were using to do maintenance and he wanted to take a ride:) Sorry buddy... These pictures aren't the vehicle he wanted in case you got confused.

When our trip was all over we headed to McD's and had some ice cream for Becca's birthday. I think this was everyone's favorite part of the day.

Ahhhh!!!! My feed reader wasn't showing any updates on your blog! Had fun looking at them. :)
The pictures are so cute. I love the one of Wills playing with the packaging from your husband's computer. Our kids love that stuff! We always tease them and tell them we're buying them big empty boxes with bubble wrap for Christmas. :)
