snap shots of various activities

So here are some "snap shots" (meaning not my best work and pictures Nick wouldn't even take but such precious moments) from August and September that I haven't had time to post. Ahh! we are already in October! Well I will eventually get to posting the pictures I have already taken this month. Hope you all enjoy.

one night Nick was headed to soccer and we tried to put Wills to bed and he screamed and screamed. After a big battle with some discipline involved we decided he could lay on the couch while mommy did computer work. He fell asleep very quickly. He has been going through this phase where he doesn't like to be left alone, he hates nursery, and he is scared of a lot of things. I am hoping it will go away and is just a phase he needs to work out.

William has a big bed now so I was changing his toddler bed back into a crib for Allie. She sleeps in a pack-n-play right next to my bed for now and probably until she sleeps through the night. Here Wills decided he could put the crib together. "fixin" it mommy. He definitely understood what he needed to do and he had the wrench right on the nut. William loves to hold Allie. By the look on her face I am not sure she loves it quite as much :) He really does enjoy her most of the time. He gets a little upset in the morning when I have to nurse and I can't hold him and her at the same time. overall though he really loves her.

Allie is getting big so fast. She loves to watch Wills run around, she loves to talk to us, she is such a happy baby! She kicks her legs and hits her toys on her play mat and she grabs onto and holds things very tightly. She likes people that she knows but mommy is her favorite. Allie also spits up a fair amount and drools. She gets the front of her clothes soaked. We sure love our big girl. She is such a happy sweet baby. Wills loves his boots. What a funny picture. He is eating a Popsicle and putting on snow boots.

Allie loves to watch TV. I try pretty hard not to let her but she hears noise and has to turn her head. She enjoys watching football with her dad. Look at that grip. She loves to hold onto things. Allie loves daddy, he loves her, when she is happy. Anyway... when she hears his voice she gets all excited and tries to find him. It is very cute.
the picture above is of Wills and Nick. Doesn't he look like Allie. Crazy huh? Pretty cute, they were watching football as well.

Marriot- Lake Tahoe- with my parents

We went up to Tahoe with my family to stay at my parents timeshare at the Timberlodge Marriot. Nick came up for the weekend and returned home to work while William, Allie, and I stayed with Grandpa, Grandma, and Charity, Becca, and Katelyn joined us on Monday. The kids had so much fun hanging out all day long. William loves spending time with his cousins! I think the highlight of the trip was swimming. It was a little cold a couple of the days but that didn't deture the kids and Grandma going for a dip. We actually had gorgeous weather almost the whole week.

I was standing up on a chair trying to get a picture of them all laying there but I couldn't fit them all so here they are in two pictures. William wasn't sleeping with them. Some day soon we will be able to let them all sleep together but he isn't quite there yet. They were all laying down watching a Dora movie.

My parents were able to sneak away to dinner so the kids and I were hanging out together. While I was cleaning up and feeding Allie this is what they decided they should do. My mom said she was surprised that I let them. I didn't care, it wasn't my house, they would get lot's of energy out, and they were having a BLAST! my rules were simply that no one got hurt!

We did a lot of this and it was so fun!
here is what Allie did :) I love my stroller and it was well worth the money just for this week alone.

Becca is a crack up! She loves to do hair. Conveniently enough I love having my hair brushed so every time I sat down to nurse Allie Bec would run up and ask to do my hair. No problem Bec!
We went to this park a couple of miles away. Here Becca is playing with Grandpa on the swings More bars in more places...Silly kids!



Charity is doing really well swimming.

Wills got hurt or something and came over pouting. Such a funny face. Grandma took all four of them swimming. Amazing. she did have 7 kids!

I think this picture is funny. she was on the bed so it was taken by just holding the camera up and trying to get the shot. Her cheeks look so so cute!

We were taking some pictures of the French family and Wills was being a booger so we fed him :) He is always up for a snack. He is like his mommy and likes to eat. Unlike his mommy he loves power bars, I eat them when we hike.
